FOOD DRIVE |
| |
We are partnering up with FISH Food Banks of Pierce County to feed hungry families this Christmas season. Many of you brought packages of dry food to the 2010 race. On behalf of FISH Food banks and those who are in need, we thank you for your generosity. The tally of the weight of food came to 239 pounds. The food was an ample supply! The food bank received a lot of mac & cheese, oatmeal, dried cereal, rice and jello. It was a great success!

Let's do even more for the food bank this year. For this year's race, please bring your food donation to the gear check station on race morning (before or after the race). For every can or package of food you bring, you will receive one raffle ticket, and will be entered into a drawing to win a great prize. Up to 10 raffle tickets per individual.
Here is a list of the FISH Food Bank food needs:
Chili
Canned Tomatoes, Green Beans, Corn
Cereal
Tuna
Vegetable, Chicken Noodle or Tomato Soup
Peanut Butter
Canned Peaches, Pears, Fruit Cocktail
Pork and Beans
Spaghetti, Mac & Cheese
PLEASE, CANNED OR PLASTIC CONTAINERS ONLY |
